Our Strengths:
Industries Served:
The training and certification of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) personnel are conducted in accordance with the company’s Written Practice, which is developed based on recognized standards such as ASNT SNT-TC-1A, ANSI/ASNT CP-189, or ISO 9712. The Written Practice outlines the requirements for the qualification, training, examination, and certification of personnel performing NDT.
Training Requirements:
NDT personnel must undergo formal classroom training that covers the principles, techniques, safety practices, and applicable codes and standards of the specific NDT method (e.g., UT, RT, MT, PT, VT). The duration and content of the training vary depending on the method and the desired certification level (Level I, II, or III).
Experience Requirements:
In addition to classroom training, personnel must acquire hands-on experience under qualified supervision. The amount of required experience is defined in the Written Practice and depends on the NDT method and certification level.
Examinations:
Personnel must pass written, practical, and (for Level II and III) specific examinations. These assessments evaluate the individual’s theoretical knowledge, ability to perform tests, and interpret results according to applicable procedures and specifications.
Certification:
Upon successful completion of training, experience, and examinations, personnel are certified by the company to perform NDT tasks within the scope defined in their certification. Certifications are method- and level-specific and are valid for a defined period, typically with provisions for recertification or renewal.
Records and Oversight:
The company maintains detailed records of training, experience, examination results, and certification status. A designated NDT Level III or responsible authority oversees the qualification and certification process to ensure compliance with the Written Practice.
